[ AHT00159 ] Use of the file "diagnostic.jsp"
Summary
It describes the information provided by the file on an Apia installation.

It is applied to
  • Apia ALL.ALL.ALL

Procedure

The file diagnostic.jsp is available in http://servidor:puerto/apia/diagnostic.jsp. By default, this file is available in an Apia installation.

The file allows viewing Apia's different parameters which were configured. These values are grouped in:

  • General Parameters: it shows Apia's global parameters. These parameters are in the table parameters of Apia's data base, they are administrated from the functionality "parameters" in the "Administration" module.
  • Environment Parameters: it shows the parameters of the environment of all Apia's parameters. These parameters are in the table env_parameters of Apia's data base, they are administrated from the functionality "Environment's parameters" in the module "Environment's administration".
  • Database parameters: it shows the data used by Apia to connect to the data base. Due to safety reasons the password isn't shown. These data are read from Apia's file config.properties.
  • BI Database Parameters: it shows information about the state of connection to the data base of Apia's BI. (This section is available only in Apia 2.4)
  • Application parameters: it shows information about the location of different folders and files which are used by Apia. These data are read from Apia's file config.properties.
  • Security Server: it shows information about the location of Apia's security server.

From the release of Apia 2.4 one more security server has been added to the file. To be able to log in it, a user and a password must be specified. In order to obtain this information, contact the support group through the e-mail: apiasupport@statum.biz.

Best practice

In the event that the table General Parameters or Environment Parameters does not show data, this means that Apia could not connect properly to the data base. For these cases, it is recommended to verify the state of the data base, the communication between Apia's servers and the data base and restart the Web service. In the event that the error continues, contact the support group through the e-mail: apiasupport@statum.biz to obtain more information.
